Terms of Service

Effective: March 18, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of UAS SkyCheck at uas-skycheck.app (the “Service”), operated by UAS SkyCheck, a subsidiary of SudoKodes LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements. The Service is intended for use in the United States and its territories only.

2. Accounts

You may use the Service without creating an account (Free tier). To access paid features you must create an account using email/password or supported OAuth providers, facilitated by Supabase. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at admin@sudokode.co if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

UAS SkyCheck offers Free, Pilot, and Captain subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe.

  • Monthly plans renew automatically each month. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Annual plans renew automatically each year. Prorated refunds are available within 30 days of purchase or renewal. See our Refund Policy for details.
  • We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days’ advance notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
  • All fees are stated in US dollars and are exclusive of any taxes, which are your responsibility.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of FAA regulations or any applicable federal, state, or local law.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, tier gates, or access controls through automated means, credential sharing, or any other method.
  • Scrape, republish, or redistribute Service data in bulk without written permission from SudoKodes LLC.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service.
  • Transmit malicious code, conduct denial-of-service attacks, or interfere with the operation of the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

5. Safety and Informational Use Only

UAS SkyCheck is an informational planning tool. It does not constitute FAA authorization to fly. A positive conditions result does not mean you are legally permitted to fly at the indicated location; it means no restrictions were detected in our dataset at the time of the query, and conditions were within acceptable thresholds. You remain solely responsible for verifying all applicable airspace restrictions, obtaining required authorizations, and complying with all FAA regulations and local laws before operating any unmanned aerial system. 6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, text, and data compilations, is owned by SudoKodes LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership interest in the Service. You may use the Service for your own pre-flight planning purposes, including commercial drone operations, subject to these Terms. Bulk redistribution, resale, or embedding of Service data in other products or services without written permission from SudoKodes LLC is prohibited.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party providers including Stripe (payments), Supabase (authentication and database), NOAA (weather data), and the FAA (airspace and NOTAM data). We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or terms of these third-party services. Your use of Stripe is subject to Stripe’s terms.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. AIRSPACE AND WEATHER DATA PRESENTED BY THE SERVICE MAY BE INCOMPLETE, OUTDATED, OR INACCURATE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SUDOKODES LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $10.00 USD.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions the above limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SudoKodes LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right; or (d) any drone operation you conduct in reliance on information provided by the Service.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, and 13 survive termination.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the email on your account or via an in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under or relating to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas. You waive any objection to personal jurisdiction or venue in such courts.

14. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Safety Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and SudoKodes LLC with respect to the Service and supersede any prior agreements. If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver.
